We have been sporadically coming here for over 10 years. What draws us to this gem? Menu is diverse & everything is delicious, our favorite & value for your money, especially during this crazy time, is the prix fixe menu!! My choice: mixed salad, soft shell crab, braised duck cooked to perfection! I've been to many restaurants in town searching for the perfect duck and have paid 3x the price, lol! The table service has always been excellent. In fact, because their dinner hours has been cut down due to the difficulty of getting help, JJ was kind enough to allow our request for early dining. That's above & beyond! It's a quaint quiet place, we always bring mainland visitors here and no need to shout over conversations to catch up. Lastly for us, I know no other nice restaurant that welcomes our fur baby who we consider part of our family! And P.S. it's byob! Unbeatable place for saving those hard earned dollars!

We were seated right after the lunch rush. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, cream of corn soup, Lamp Wellington, blue crab, a crying belly, and a mild curry and a spicy curry. Everything came out in a timely manner and we were informed at the time of our order that the Lamb Wellington would take 15 minutes. The food was delicious and had an array of flavors and spices. We saved room for dessert and were invited inside to have a look at the desserts available. We ordered a selection of desserts and tried to share them evenly. It was all great.

Wow!! Their desserts option are to die for. I ordered 4 different items. Love every one of it!!. Staffs were truly amazing. They took the time to explain all the different desserts . Their foods are so delicious. Flavors were on point. Their menu options are so huge. Definitely coming back to try other items.

I had lunch with a friend and her daughter in this cute little cafe in the design center. The food is fresh, clean, and came in perfect portions. My 2 year old daughter loved the salmon and fresh veggies it as well as the corn soup with crab. But what we loved most about this place was the desert selection!!! Oh how my daughter’s eyes sparkled when she saw the showcase of over 20 varieties of mini cakes!! Ofcourse, she chose the pink colored cake which to my surprise was azuki bean cream. I chose a chocolate shell dome with marron (chestnut) and rum mouse filling. Both rare flavors and delicious!! The deserts are great because they are not overly sweetened and cater to a foreign tongue!! Unfortunately deserts were devoured so I didn’t get a photo. My daughter now dreams about going back and having desert. We will be back soon! .

The Tiny Pyramid is a gem. My wife and I love this restaurant. We have been going with our family from when it was JJ's on Waialae. Many beautiful memories. Amazing food and desserts and a family run restaurant. Been loving JJ's food for many years. We had a wonderful time as always. Got to check this place out. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

Quiet cafe with a wide spread of desserts. They make decent coffee and the mall is very well designed with shade and ventilation in mind. Nice spot for a slow afternoon break. Interestingly the mall seems to specialize in furniture and ballet classes.

Interesting restaurant located in a design center meant for designers who build houses. None the less, nit only do they serve food, similar to fine dining, without the high prices. They also offer many sorts of pastry's to go if you wanted.

Smaller portions but incredible flavors. Had the opakapaka and it was divine. Don't forget to save room for dessert, the variety was impressive, not just a dessert cart with 5 choices. Had the pistachio brandy one (sorry i forgot the name past that) and the flavors were very good, with a subtle and not overpowering sweetness. Will definitely go again
